Are you selling outside of the US?
We are currently selling online exclusively in the United States. In due time, we will expand into shipping to Canada and Mexico. Worldwide shipping will follow. What will get us there is knowing your desire for our product, always here to hear it at info@vijn.co.
How long will delivery take?
Our team is currently shipping standard ground orders within 4 weeks of an order. There may be a lag during times of high order volume or the holiday season of Q4. If we fall a bit behind and your order is delayed, we’ll do our absolute best to communicate the delay with you. Does your ceramic contain led?
The Nest is produced with glazes that are free of lead and other heavy metals. We fire our pots at high temperatures, ensuring the glaze components are entirely encapsulated and will not leach onto your food. Developed and tested in Europe, our glazes are tested by an independent, third party lab to ensure that they are compliant with the EU's Regulation 2020/878 and California’s Prop 65 standards. Where is the Nest produced?
The Nest is designed in Los Angeles before its manufacturing process takes place in Northern Portugal.
Can I use these daily?
Yes, the earthenware ceramic Nest is quite durable. Ahead of its debut, we tested our personal samples through daily use for a year. In this time, various colors of the Nest were used for dining, cleaning vegetables, storing jewelry and art supplies. We are proud to now share and learn about its durability with you. That being said, it’s pottery, and all pottery is breakable. The bowls don’t need to be handled differently than other pottery, but we know it’s an investment and a financial commitment to purchase and replace it, so use them mindfully.
Are the bowls machine washable?

Can I change my shipping address?
The vijn Care team can change your shipping address if your order has not been shipped out yet. To do so, please share your order number and name to care@vijn.co. If you need to change the shipping address after the order has been shipped out, you will need to make an account with the carrier and change it on your end. Accessorial charges may apply when changing an address with the carrier.
Can I change my billing address?
To ensure protection of your sensitive information, we cannot change your billing address after an order has been placed. If you accidentally used the wrong billing address, it will not affect your order’s shipping address. Overall, you would be unable to place an order if your billing address was too off-base.
What shipping carrier do you use?
Depending on where we are sending orders, we primarily ship packages with UPS or USPS.
Can I get expedited shipping?
We do not offer expedited shipping at this time. As we develop our distribution methods, product safety and delivery consistency is our focus. When this changes, we will communicate the availability of expedited shipping.
My item arrived broken, what should I do?
If you receive a broken item with your shipment, send an email to care@vijn.co within a week of delivery with a photograph of the breakage and your order number. We’ll get you taken care of.
What is your return policy?
Upon ordering, should you decide to cancel the order before it is shipped, we will refund you. Once deployed, we do not accept returns.
Tracking says delivered, but never arrived.
In this case, most packages have been delayed and will show up within a week. Once the package has left our warehouse, the carrier is responsible for your package and delivery. We cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. For issues with delivery or tracking, the easiest and fastest way to get a resolution is to reach out directly to the shipping carrier.
