IN-SEASON III

A seasonal dinner by VIJN and Little Los Angeles.

On Sunday, December 14, we invite you to eat In-Season — a shared meal rooted in seasonal produce and our shared perspective on flavor. Set within the artful bounds of the Start Gallery, this tight-knit dinner is built around connection, rhythm, and presence.

What to Expect

Expect four courses of in-season produce in the midst of good people and zero small talk. We’re dialing up the service with a sequenced flow to grant an experience that feels chosen, for you. Chef Tea’s artistry, our spatial design, and your presence. An honor to serve you.

About the Chef

Chef Tea, is the executive chef of Little Los Angeles — a culinary collective showcasing Afro-Futurist cuisine. Using the elements of salt, fat, heat, acidity, balance, texture, music, ambiance, company, and lastly conversation, Chef Tea introduces a farmers-market-to-table approach to craft exquisitely-practical dishes. Using nostalgia as the main ingredient, Chef Tea introduces flavors that are familiar and comfortable to the palate while adding a refreshing perspective. "I feel that food is the common denominator that sits at the intersection of our cultures. Los Angeles possesses a rich cultural landscape that continues to shape me as a person and creator. When I set foot in the kitchen, I bring everything with me from the traditions of my family to my formal training in Hawaii. I see every dish I create as a profound expression of my personal growth and that's what I hope to share with the audience."
